I rigged it with a strap around the press handle to another part on the press housing so it would engage the heat cutoff switch without closing all the way.
I did about 50 and once working out the kinks it went pretty easily.
Update:
The customer just returned these since they would leak out around the lid.
Looking at them close it looks like even with the precautions taken, the cup still deforms slightly when pressed, causing the leak.
If your mug press doesn't have an adjustable diameter, these jds mugs may be a problem.
We won't be able to do small quantities and will send larger orders to an ASI company.
