Well, its finally time to get serious. I have a restaurant that wants names on 30 mugs. I can do them on my laser, with rotary attachment, or sandblast. I'd like to do the sandblast. As this will be a new customer I don't want to scare them away but I don't think I have any competition for this. Also this will be my first real paying job for the blast cabinet.

Any quick advice on where to start per mug? Or just advice in general? I need to call them back today.

Thanks!

Jim

We price differently for carry in glass than for stock glass - different profit margin and setup can vary from piece to piece. This job sounds like all the glasses will be the same. We charge $15.00 for the first piece and $10.00 for each additional as a starting price - varies dependent on the piece. Sandblasting is such a manual process and the materials not inexpensive. Discounts for new customer or for quantity may apply. Curious to hear what others may suggest.
