I'm using the trial software for SAGE and have found it quite interesting. I have had a couple customers who want wine glasses, so looked up the pricing through SAGE. Then I did some checking on the internet and found I could get the same glasses (and imprinting) for less on-line (retail) then I can from the wholesale suppliers. ($1.53 ea + $39 set up fee on-line vs. $1.73/ea wholesale from SAGE vendor)
Apparently there are people importing and imprinting the glassware for less than most of us can purchase the glasses for wholesale. Has anyone else encountered this situation? How can we as suppliers and distributers deal with this type of competition?
