UGH! So frustrated - got an email from Norton telling me my subscription was due to expire. So I dutifully re-upped and upgraded for another year. I should have known - I've spent all weekend fixing the things it changed on me! :'-(
One of them I can't figure out is the TCP/IP connection. I use one port to connect to either the internet or the laser. I swap out the Ethernet cables for whatever I'm working on (dedicated cables are attached to both the modem and the laser so I just unplug/plug in whichever I need to use and voila - all connected).
Now that I've installed the new Norton 6, I can't do this any more. My network connection is either set for the IP address of the laser (therefore can't connect to the net) or I can remove the IP address of the laser and tell the network connection to obtain it's own IP (so can't print to the laser but I can surf the net).
Can anyone tell me what to do to get both of these active again without me having to modify the network connections 16 times a day? Thank you!! And sorry for the long story...
