Is everyone else still receiving notification when there's a post addressed to them?

I'm not (though "Notify by email of posts to me" is still turned "on"). Any ideas on what else I can check?

We are getting them, as long as Dee picks up the email before I do. Her computer just downloads them, mine clears the server also. Two things to check on to insure getting them. Go to 'My Controls' then 'Email & Privacy' and be sure that the notify is checked. Then click on 'SAVE' even if it is already checked. I have seen a glitch at times unless this is done. I suspect that what reads the data for My Controls and what actually does the response reads it differently and the 'Save' corrects some type of problem. Be sure that "adminEE@johncfish.com" is not blocked by your browser or your server. Philadelphia, PA (Really Bensalem) When you finally understand it completely... it changes.

Back when the forum's host was changed, I discovered the notifications would not go through to my Verizon email account. (Don't know if that's still the case.) I switched to another email account. It's been working fine. Ken Devory Jr.

Thanks to all. Believe me, I know what I'm fixin' to say (yes, that's proper grammar in Texas) is what everybody says when they have computer problems but -- I haven't changed anything. It worked fine before (up until a few days ago); now it doesn't work. Daddy's not getting his notifications either. I'm guessing something in our ISP cyberspace must have changed ... or, yes, the luggage fairy is being vengeful. Oh well, I'll just keep logging in manually to check for replies to both of us. Your ISP may have blocked that source because of too many emails being generated from that one source.

The forum gets busy and the ISP's now consider us spam. Duh.

Not that big of a deal since (unless I'm out of town, very seldom), I never miss a day checking up on everyone here!

Harv was sure that I was getting notifications when I said I wasn't. Imagine his surprise this weekend when he discovered that I wasn't! (devil) He did something to my computer and now I am getting them. I will have him email you his fix.

My fix was simple, that computer lost the setting to synchronize the forum mail notification account on startup.

My gut says it is spam blocking by your IP.

The return path is anonymous@u15191782.onlinehome-server.com

My gut is that the 'anonymous' is being blocked by the spam filters.
