Mike,

I would imagine that being a photographer, living in Hawaii, (and doing your own inkjet prints), that you've printed to metallic paper.

If not, you should check it out.

Especially nice for images with sun shining on sand etc.

I was at a local service bureau, when I stumbled across some prints done on metallic paper.

Nice!! :-)

Thanks Dave. I've never tried that. I wonder if dye based ink would work on a metalic? If it has a cpoating, probably.

Sorry I missed this Dave. Been busy with not a lot of time to visit forums lately.

There's no statute of limitations, when it comes to responding to one of my posts. :-) 

The prints we've had done were from Epson ink jet printers. I'm assuming archival ink.

It's a nice look. Subtle, but very dramatic, at the same time, if that makes sense.
