There was a day when an award just had to be a trophy or a plaque.

Those days are now a distant memory, although some people still have that mindset.

Here's some food for thought.

This is an example of several awards I recently made, which I'm told, went over very well with the recipients.

Sometimes, thinking out of the box, finds you thinking in the box. :-)

Here's the breakdown:

1) Premium, piano-finish keepsake box, available through distributors such as Novachrome USA and Johnson Plastics.

2) 4.25" Spacerless "Premiere" Glossy tile from Coast Graphic Supply.

3) Transfer printed on 95% Plus (aka Textprint XP) hi-release paper, on an Epson 900, with ArTainium ink.

4) Inner plate printed on brushed silver sublimatable aluminum, from Identification Plates (aka DynaSub, available from JDS Industries). Transfer paper for metal plate: 1401 (aka TruePix)

As you can see, there's plenty of room for a special message, inside the lid. :-)

Thank you Mike.

Most of the work is already done, in the way of premium box.

Just add a tile and place a plate inside. :-)
