I read the British article (italicized), but when I tried to read the rest, my head started hurting.

For those that haven't had a chance to read the article....

A sculpture of a modernistic head was sent to a British museum for display. The slate base and the mounting piece (plinth?) for the head was sent in a separate package.

The geniuses at the museum saw the sculpture and decided it wasn't up to standards for the show and never realized the base was missing.

They turned down the head for display and voted TO DISPLAY THE BASE AND THE MOUNTING PIECE IN THE SHOW AS A QUALITY/QUALIFIED PIECE OF ART!!!!!!
DOH!!
