My first sign! - Engraving Etc. Forum

Thought I'd share with you all a sign I just did for a local lumber yard. I ordered some wood from them and one conversation lead to another, the owner came to see my shop and voila! He asked me to do a sign for his showroom! He just took over this lumber yard and part of their 'thing' is they do custom mantels. This sign will be displayed on top of a sample mantel in their showroom...with my cards right next to it! The sign measures 20" x 8". (Those lines going horizontally across the wood are purposeful...they are part of his logo.) Looks great. Way to network.

They might even have more work for you. Maybe make some TUIT's from Wooden Nickle with their info on them for a business card that they can give to their customers.

I can't believe you just suggested that as he called me last night...asked what type of give away I could make for him for an upcoming chamber event. I suggested buffalo nickels with a coupon...he loves the idea!

Just emailed him a sample I did...not sure if it will be cost effective for him but who knows??

Hmm..... This CAN'T be the same Holly that could only do photos on marble just a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have any idea how to expand her market and sales, etc. Very nice job! And the best for your NEW business! :D "My Karma ran over your Dogma!"
