I should be able to figure this out.... :P but I can't.

I want a complete circle with 13 separate pieces similar to attachment. However, they need to be cut out separately and put back together in circle so that they touch. I would prefer the outer edge to be shape of circle instead of being flat.

Probably not making any sense here...

I am making a circle of 13 different colored pieces of engraving stock for display.

Thanks for trying to understand :-)

Brian

It sounds like you only need 1 wedge shape that you can cut out of 13 different pieces of stock. If you haven't got it yet, re-post and I will send it to you. I will need to know how big the circle is.

That is true but the angles have to be so that I can piece it back together. Make sense?

This is problem a simple project but I just "ain't" getting it

It can be any size, probably about 10" will do it. Can you maybe explain how you did it so I can give it a go? You can also send the file if you like.

Divide your circle into 13 segments 360/13=27.692. That is the included angle of each segment. Draw a 10" circle with a 5" vertical line extending from the center to the top. Change the centerpoint of the vertical line to the same center point as the circle, then go to ARRANGE-TRANSFORMATIONS-ROTATE Tab. Enter the angle (27.692), click "apply to duplicate" several times. Your circle is now divided into 13 equal segments.
