I ran across this picture in a recent catalog I received. This would be so easy for those of us who are laser owners. Forget about the generic terms like "family" or "freinds" and use an individual or company's name.

A quick vector cut, a little spray enamel and adhesive, and you've got a unique personalized frame.

The darker-colored wood items seem to be popular for this year's gift-giving season. I've had requests to lase 230 wooden (pict. frame/keepsake) boxes and 400 wooden sandtimers, both in shades similar to your photo.

Good news is, the sandtimer, when lased, actually reveals a lighter color wood. Looked pine-like.

Don't know about the box. Didn't get the laser order for those. That's because I convinced them they needed a solid-brass, ornamental plate with digitally imaged text.

Layman terms = Black laser sublimation on a brass plate with notched corners. :-)

Do you know where I can find wooden sandtimers wholesale? My business name is "Etched in Time Engraving" and when I first got started I thought they would be fitting promotional items, except I couldn't find a supplier!

The customer is supplying the timers. Not sure where they're coming from.

I'm sure our resourceful forum members will have some sources for you. :-)
