Here's another reason to upgrade to X3. That is the improved "cutout lab" feature in PhotoPaint.

Though far from expert I was able to make this in less than 15 minutes for a t-shirt order.

The shirts look much better than the photos.

I tried the 'Cutout Lab' once and may be missing out on something.

I find it so much easier to go into Paint and do a mask either around the good stuff, or around the background then invert. Then save with the mask in place and only what is masked comes into Draw.

The ability to add pieces or delete pieces of the mask make it easy, then you can knock off rough corners and feather the mask to get easy results.

Freehand drawing like in the Cutout Lab is nearly impossible for me, too much touch-up is needed for my so-called lines.

I never got much past red eye and zit removal in PP but I have one of the Graphire tablets and that makes this cut out thing pretty easy.
