If you ever used the original Sawgrass inks you would know that sublimation in its beginnings stunk.

This thread has been started in the 'heat' of battle to cover this 'pressing' problem of puns turning up where they should not be. Hopefully there will be a 'migration' to this thread.

No 'fuzziness' here. The posts need to 'pop'.

As Tinkerbell said, "If you are not good, you will be 'pixelated'."

Harvey,

This should be a "gas."

It's probably a good idea. We have some incorrigable punsters here, and it's wishful thinking to think they won't strike again.

This way, they'll have a "pad." :-)

Harvey,

You're putting me under a lot of "pressure" but I'll try not to "dwell" on it.

I think you two are really starting to "mirror" one another's sentiments. It's nice that you are keeping people "filled" in on what you are doing. But as far as keeping puns out of threads, you may "dye" trying.
I have a pretty "vivid" memory that on occasion, when threads have been "intense" some light hearted joking got everyone back on track...even though the thread was "saturated" with pretty bad jokes.
I hope jokes, while not "pressing" parts of a discussion find this "setting" to be more agreeable.
Ok, that's as bad as it gets and I must stop!! LOL

Old sublimators never die...they just get "depressed"... :-)

I expect now that you've opened this can of worms...it's likely to not "fade away"....

Then again, I've never been known to let a chance like this slide..but do you really think all of the puns will be "transferred" here?

Steve,

Just to make sure puns remain in this thread, we'll provide a "shuttle."

A punny thread like this seems to "draw" a lot of "colorful" "mugs" into it. They get "wrapped" up in it.

BTW, I'm not trying to needle anybody in this thread.

Dave,

Nobody accused you of needling and we hope you won't "swing-away" or "clam" up.

Dave-
Ok I was going to use the "clamming" up joke but someone beat me to it.
Suffice it to say, it is my sense of humor that is the "power" that "drives" me. On the other hand, no one would dare match my "PMS" on my worst days. LOL
You can see now why I typically refrain from throwing my hat into the pun mix.

Becky,

Maybe we can "clamp" down on people who use too many of the good words up, in one post. :-)

"Clamping' down may be a new theme to go for.

Maybe even a 'theme park'.

I for one will go for the 'ride', and maybe roll on a coast for a while.

This may have some "ups and downs" but I will give it a "spin" I have a few "lined" up in the "queue" After all, it builds up "character" and can lead to a "bumper" crop of creativity.
I feel like I am on a "super duper loop" (only PA folks will get that one) of puns.
I will now "EXIT" here........

Becky,

It seems that Barnum had a problem at his famous museum of oddities.

The museum had become so popular that the patrons wouldn't leave and the building quickly filled to capacity. This prevented more patrons from helping to fill P.T.'s bank account.

Barnum thought for a bit, then had signs with arrows made-up saying "This way to the Great Egress". Sure enough, people followed the signs to a large set of doors over which read "The Great Egress".

Full of anticipation they went through the doors only to find themselves back out on the street.
