Puck,
You don't need the original files to go backward if you created the logos using xybercad
Open Xybercad
select 6
then select 3 (make DC2 file from logo)
enter the LGO filename and then convert it back into a DC2 file.
make sure that you configure the directories properly so it knows where to find the LGO files.
once you convert it back into a DC2 file you can then open it in Design Cad and convert it into DXF or HPGL either one can import into Corel and then export into the AI format.
Also the files that are turned into the LGO files are PLT files that are created from Design Cad once you Plot the file. They are deleted once the Xybercad does its conversion. The DC2 files are the originals and can be exported to use in other programs.
If you don't have access to the Design Cad I have a little program that will convert the DC2 files to DXF or HPGL. just let me know and I can send it to you.
Harvey,
Any LGO format has the serial number coded into it any LOG format can be used and made to use for several engravers. I believe that new hermes uses the LOG format. CEM- Sales and Service of Universal Lasers, Versa Lasers, and Meistergram / H-square engravers.
