I have a customer who wants a logo sandblasted on 100 wine bottles. I'm thinking that I need to charge around 10.00 each but the middleman I'm dealing with says I probably won't get the order unless I can do it for 5.00. Is it worth the time at this price? I've just started sand carving and have done only 1 bottle for a sample. Any tips on doing this process in an assembly line fashion would be appreciated.

You're probably right in your thinking ($10) based on the amount of work you'll be doing.

A customer, or middleman, telling you what price will "fly" can sometimes be a good barometer, but only if the volume and the ability to establish an efficient workflow is there.

Most often, they're telling you what they would "like" to pay, without any knowledge of the nuts and bolts and how time-consuming a job like that can be.

First and foremost, the price has to make sense to you.
