Here's something you might try before you uninstall and re-install. If you have a corrupted file within Corel your chances of finding it are slim. The Corel people gave me a work around for this problem. It has to be repeated from time to time.
Close all programs.
Go to start, run and type in the following
%appdata% enter
select the Corel file
right click on corel 9 and delete it
restart the pc (a new file will replace the old)
For some reason the corrupted file is temporarily repaired and you can continue your work. It will eventually reappear.
