Using Gravostyle 98..
When I do a multi-page matrix and send it to the printer, it prints just 1 page with ALL the info from the other pages on it.
Anyone encounter this before or know how to correct?
I had to delete the second page, print the first, bring back the second, delete the first and print the second.
I'm pretty sure that NH didn't intend for that to be the way.. :)

Are you talking about layers?

I believe that WYSIWYRE will only show the Layer 1. I never tried anything else. Retail does not use matrices, unfortunately it is all onsie.

When you finally understand it completely... it changes.

BTW... This is for sublimating...
If I set up to do multi plates with lets say 40 names...
each page will have 20 names...
instead of having 2 sheets print, the first with the 1st 20 names and the second with the second, 1 sheet prints out wit the 1st 20 names AND the 2nd 20 superimposed over the 1st 20.

Steve,

I would have never thought of using an engraving program to make sublimation prints. Why not Corel or Illustrator?

I have the templates there already, since I brought sublimation into my shop only 2 years ago, so it's just as easy to do it in Gravo, then send it to the printer, reverse print and sublimate it.

I have, being chronically behind in production, any few second saved here and there is a bonus.

The Xenetech engraving software for rotarys and lasers is limited in color choices but for black or basic colors it is the bomb.

When I had 1000 1x3 sublimation plates that a customer supplied a text file for, I set up a basic layout. You can select the line or lines with changing text, the individual plate size, full plate size (normally the standard or legal paper size) and space between for easy shearing later and just paste the text. The Xenetech software takes over and with a couple clicks creates multiple pages that will be printed one after another with just sending it to the power driver once!

Steve and John.

More than one way to skin a cat, or print sublimation transfers. :-)

Never knew that (sublimation transfers).

Thanks,
