There is an important feature of the forum software that some people are not using. It is the automatic notification of a Private Message that pops up when there is a new message and you are reading the forum.
I have a few PM's I have sent that are still sitting in my outbox, never read. One from August 2006. I do not want to moderate out some posts due to no replies to the PM's.
To turn on this feature click on 'My Controls' in the bar just below our logo.
Click on 'Forum Options in the list on the left.
Scroll down the screen a little until you see this box.
Be sure that 'Notify by popup of new PM messages to me' is checked. Then go to the bottom and save the change.
