I bought some of the Black, White and Bronze Cermark and they are working pretty well so far. I am still experimenting how thick I need to apply it to glass as well as the power/speed settings.
Sean Weir advised me to use low power and slow speed for glass and to apply it so that it blocks a strong light from coming through. My first attempt after that advice worked out very well and I hope to get it even better.

I've tried the black, gold and blue on glass. My best results came from the gold, but I don't remember my settings (not at the shop).

I couldn't get the black or blue to work well with any of the speed/power combinations that I tried.

This isn't something that we think will do well in our shop, so I didn't spend much time on it.

Cody:
You said the gold works well on glass, do you think it would work on stone? I'm looking for a very permenant marking/paint for exterior application on stone. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

If the CerMark adheres to stone, I can say from first-hand experience, the mark will be permanent.

That is, I've taken a wire brush to an Atomic Art (AA) image, on ceramic tile and couldn't get it to budge.

AA uses an variation of TherMark, but I think the permanence aspect would be the same.

I can't say whether or not it will work, but you can bet I'll be trying it over the next couple of days. I have a friend that wanted me to laser some river rocks for pet headstones - I'll try black cermark instead - good idea!
