I am looking at an Ikonics Crystalblast 3624. Wondering if anyone on here has one and how does it hold up. They claim you can run it anywhere and you get NO dust. Thanks John

I've had a 3624 for about 3 years now, and it's a great machine. There really is virtually no dust, except for small amounts of grit that inevitably settle around the door...and eventually on the floor. Definitely manageable if you remember to clear that area with a few short bursts of air before opening the door.

I've never had a minute of problems with the machine. But if you're blasting a lot of glass, plan on replacing the nozzle about twice a year.

Jim

Got one and love it...if I needed a second cabinet, I'd buy one again. I echo the comments made earlier about replacing the nozzle, but that's not a specific issue to the CrystalBlast cabinet. I like the fact that this unit is self contained and clean. Very happy with it.

I have the chance to order one from the show in Atlantic city, The price seems right was 4700.00 complete. He said he would give me a demo unit with less than 20 hrs use for 3495.00 delivered everything included. Will be here on Wednesday. John

We got ours in 2005 at the ARA show in Vegas...I won't say for how much because they've gone up on this quite a bit since that time, but in return for the brief usage at the show and wear and tear on the nozzle, we got some extra abrasive, RapidMask, AccuArt, etc. You'll enjoy yours quite a bit!
