The recent news of a Sublijet and ArTainium (essentially the same company) sublimation ink price increase, (Apr. 2, 2007) may be offset for some, by the fact that the term "wide format", arbitrarily dictated by Sawgrass to be 42", has now been lessened to 24", the true starting point of wide format printing, according to a Mutoh representative, to whom I once spoke.

What this means, is people who own a printer with a print width of 24", can now (legally) buy ink by the liter, which is priced substantially less than cartridges and smaller increments, i.e. 125 ml, 500 ml.
