Hello everyone...

I'm looking for a new source for track event ribbons.. I do about 15 meets during this time every year, and I was wondering if there was a better source than the one I'm using...

I use Tower Ribbons in Indiana & have been very happy. This is their rush season so I do allow more time for orders, 3 weeks I think. Toni

Dixie,

I second the Tower Ribbons recommendation. Only problem I have with them is the "handling" part of their shipping and handling charge is excessive. I ordered about 150 ribbons and some light chains. The ribbons came from one place and the chains from another. The handling charge for the chain box was almost $6 while the shipping for the 1 lb box was $5.83.

That said their quality is high and their customer service very good and their prices reasonable and the ordering process easy.

The company that I use now is known for selling to the general public, and we actually took a few of their jobs away from them (We can print ribbons, just not the track ribbons). Their pricing seemed to go up after that, which may have been a coincidence.

I was just wanting to compare prices to see if they were too high, or if I'm just cheap!! :D

Just takes a lead melter, typesetter, Ribbon Heat Press, inventory of zinc designs, Ribbons of many colors and sizes... Rossette Maker, Button Maker, Eyelete Press, Air Compressor, Threader....... I know I missing something..... Oh ya ...a lot of business...... did I mention...a lot of business..... .... ... .. . Mark In the Great Northwest!
