Ok,
This could be a start into a different area I have not been in yet. Dh just through at me that he needed to get some vinyl lettering done and ended up calling this one company. Long story short the guy of this company ran into me at a fair I did last summer. I helped him out in a bind (just cut out some rowmark strips for name plates for a sign). Needless to say per the conversation with dh one thing led to another and he wants to ask for ideas for a church he is working with (could be his own as far as I know). They are going to be doing a donor plaque. He wants ideas. Well, unfortunately he will be here in like 1 hr to look at our trucks for lettering and wants to talk to me then. I am no way prepared since I have not done anything like this before. I will go through my catalogs I have to look at these types of plaques but what I need to know what is the about average price to charge for the engraving per donor metal tag? Am I making myself clear since I do not know the proper terms? I assume that once a donor gives money they will call me up with the proper name to be lasered onto a "tag" to be placed on the plaque. Plus do you charge more for the plaque itself? Assuming that there is not any engraving done to the plaque itself. Ugh why do they throw these things at me like this with no time to figure out pricing lol
Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated now and past the hour time line I have. I am sure we will just talk today and I will then have more time to come up with ideas and prices. Also any neat ideas to make it different would be great too. One idea I have is if they have different donor levels to create donor tags in a different shape like a cross or the shape of a church etc but this could only be done if something like rowmark plastic is used, I am assuming. Again any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Debbie
