I really do not have a question here, I have a large polished stainless steel monument to engrave with portraits. I hate doing this, Looking at it from one angle it looks great, from a different angle it looks like a negative. This is a relatively expensive project and I really would like it to look good. Any Suggestions?

Only look at it the first way. :P

I'm assuming that you are looking away from a light source when the picture looks good, and into the light source (reflection off of workpiece) when it looks like a negative. Is that right? It may be just backwards from that....can't think straight yet (no coffee).
