Can anyone tell me the advantages (if any) of sandblasting glasses over lasering them

I would like to be able to give my customers other reasons besides processing time and materials when trying to justify sandblasting prices compared to laser.

Or perhaps my methods are wrong and there are faster, more economic ways of sandblasting glasses than the way I do it.

Any help gratefully received.

Why not show them the difference? Laser one and blast one, keep both in display and let them make the choice.

Myyk,

I think Mark is exactly correct. Do one of each, then let the customer SEE the difference.
Currently I am working on some glasses that I laser etched. The customer was "ok" with it, but asked if I could make it more like the ones he got from the factory. The difference between blasting and laser etching is tremendous. Blasting wins the "quality" award hands down.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for that. I don't have a laser, but perhaps I will have a glass done by one of my suppliers just for comparison.
