We're adding Kevin Lumberg and John Barker, of Johnson Plastics (JP) to the list of speakers.

Both are long-time sublimation enthusiasts and in-house sublimation experts for JP.

Before the show, I'll firm it up and be back with a schedule of times for all the speaker's presentations.

More to come.

OK Gang,

We're one week away from our annual pilgrimage to the iconic city of Las Vegas, Nevada!

The ARA International Awards Market, is the award and engraving industry's most comprehensive trade show in the U.S.A. More info at www.aralasvegas.com

You won't want to miss Engraving Etc. Live!

We'll be in the Plaza Room of the Imperial Palace Hotel/Casino, Tuesday Feb. 24th, from Noon to 10 pm. There will be a number of demos exhibits and Q&A sessions, but if you can't be there in the afternoon, you'll definitely want to be there from 7 pm on!

That's when we'll have Tom "Buzz" Bernard (You've read his many informative articles in the A&E magazine) on hand to speak on marketing and product development for your laser.

Roy Brewer, of Engraving Concepts, will show us some out-of-the box applications for laser engraving.

We'll tap Kevin Lumberg, (one of Johnson Plastic's sublimation specialists), for information on the exciting process of full-color dye sublimation.

Ron Manwiller will demonstrate the hi-tech process of creating waterslide decals for the purpose of applying permanent (kiln-fired), amazingly durable images to ceramics.

Those are just some of the highlights and believe it or not, all brought to you free of charge!

The next evening, Feb. 25th, also in the Plaza Room, will be our annual Family Reunion dinner!

The convergence of great food, a mountain of door prizes and your fellow forum members. What else can I say? It's a must!

$60 per person
Doors open at 6 pm - Dinner at 7 pm

Payment can be made, either by going to www (dot) paypal (dot) com using the "Send Money" option, to send a payment to my email address of dglengraving (at) roadrunner (dot) com or by sending a check to:

Engraving Etc.
709 W. Channel Islands Blvd. #1
Port Hueneme, CA 93041

We really need to nail down a final number of attendees for dinner, so please make my life easier, by pre-paying, or by contacting me to discuss your payment.

If you just can't get enough of hanging out with your forum family, meet us at La Hacienda Margarita, at 6 pm, Thursday, Feb. 26th. Located in the Las Vegas Hilton, it's "very" tasty, authentic Mexican cuisine.

I hate to wish away time, but I just can't wait to see all of you in Las Vegas!

All the best,

David Lavaneri
