I am engraving, using Dr. Engrave, but thought that maybe I could just print directly from Corel Draw?
I'm on a Roland PNC-2100 Rotary Engraver.
Also, I am considering getting a EGX-300... anything good/bad about that model?
Thanks.

There is a corel / windows driver on www.rolanddga.com under support. Look under legacy products for the pnc 2300a drivers etc and the current products for egx 300 drivers , both sets of drivers should work with the 2100 - the 300 drivers will/should print from corel. When you install the 300 windows driver it lists your machine as an option.

I saw a windows driver for 2300, and some autocad drivers, but nothing for Corel Draw.
You think the egx-300 windows xp dirver will work with the 2100 - 2300?
That would be great....I'll see if I can give it a try tonight....

The egx 300 xp driver does work with your machine , when you intall it it comes up with a list of engravers and the 2100 is there.

Rodney,
I finally had time to download the 300 driver, and I've tried printing but when I hit print, it just goes into the spooler and gets stuck...
Is there something particular that I need to do before sending it to the engraver?

You need to go to printer properties and tick the box "print directly to printer" .
