If I correctly understand what you want to do here is an easy way.
Select the text using the shape tool.
At the bottem (left I think) grab the handle and move it up.
Hope this is what you need.

Bluepaw answered your question about how to increase the interline spacing.
Shift moves the text in relation to the baseline. You can raise the 'c' in McAfee upward using 'shift'.

If you want to change the line spacing in X3 click on text and paragraph formatting then line spacing.
For moving individual characters select the text then use the shape tool to highlight the letter. You canmove it with the tool or digitally from the toobar.
