Mike,
We can use the red dot to position on flat objects, why can't we put the object in the rotary and use the red dot and arrows to find the center of the engraving.....then use these coordinates to do the same thing as on flat?
That would be a great help!

Brian,
The problem again is changing the mugs and putting them in the same position each time.
You could do this but each time you will have to move your text to line up with the position of the graphic on the mug.
We no that the rotary turns 180 degrees on start so if we use this and then line the red diode up with the center of the graphic on the mug the text will stay in the same position within Corel.
Either way you will move the text to the position of the mug or you will move the mug to the position of the text.
With the flat plates you can make stops for locations and then repeat the engraving over and over in the same spot, with the rotary it is a lot harder.
I would probably take some masking tape and place it on the top edge of the mug, make a mark where the center of the graphic is. Now with the first one you do once you rotate it 180 degrees and center the red diode to the mark on the mug then make a reference mark on the rotary cone. Once that is done you could line up the two marks and it should be close.
Experiment with one to see if that will work.

Mike,
I'm curious, is this something that could be addressed with the driver software in the future? This is one of the reasons I haven't used my rotary attachment well over a year.

Dave,
In a simple answer YES, It has already been changed with the Versa Lasers and I expect it to be implemented into the Professional series systems.
Please do not take this as absolute fact this is not my decision just my opinion.
