If you want to speed up your production, here is an interesting new product.
This is an add-on attachment for a Geo. Knight 16x20 press that allows for dual loading/unloading & high production pressing with only one operator.
The pictures, installation manual and additional info are also found on our web site at

Dave,
That's a cheap shot!
The important question is, how's the finger clearance between the handle and the housing? :-)
Actually, both are valid questions.

Hi David
There is another similar new press out there where the heating platen moves, not the bottom one. It therefore takes 33 % less space to do the same job.
You can view it at
http://www.acp.com/idek_d2.html
It looks like it has pleanty of room for the other David's fingers !!! I understand you can also rotate the platens for landscape or portrait mode.

Mick,
I've seen that press. It also has interchangeable fixtures for doing pockets and sleeves of garments.
I test drove one at Coast Graphic Supply, with the first test being checking for finger clearance. Plenty of it. :-)

This company needs to get shut down. PERIOD! They should not be allowed to come out with anything new until they can correct the problems they have on their items at this time. I have finally gave up on trying to fix my swing away press I bought from them. Before I ordered it, I called and asked them if they had fixed the wiring problems. They lied to me and said yes they had a very small problem but it was mostly just ONE dissatisfied customer. Again, they LIED to me and sold me a $1,000.00 BOAT ANCHOR! I have the press with all the burnned wires, fuselinks, etc...

What part of "small claims court" don't you understand?
If they shipped it to you, it is considered interstate commerce.....

Wouldn't I have to go to their state to sue them? If I can sue them here, I will file it Monday morning, first thing!

I'm not an attorney, but you might want to talk to your local DA and get a free opinion from them. You (generic) DID elect them in most towns and cities.
Or maybe a lawyer friend (is there such a thing as a friendly lawyer? :S ) who will give you a quick opinion for a beer or two.
