Hi folks, Todd here, Jo's hubby.
I just purchased Engravelab for our Laser (Universal Versalaser VL200).
Does anybody use this software? I think I need to install all new drivers due to the fact I have been using Corel's X3.
Thank You in Advance Folks.

Todd,
I think the only way that you can use the Versa and engrave lab is with the ADVANCED driver. I am not really sure if the materials based driver will work.
I might be wrong but it is not hard to figure it out just try and print from engrave lab using the materials based driver.

Hi.. not sure about your machine. but I have a 30 watt universal using engrave lab.. and I would never use corel knowing what engrave lab can do.. it drives all of our machines.. from vinyl cutters to Wizzard engravers.. I really like it.. check with universal.. I think its just a printer driver you need..

I have EngraveLab v6 and I would never use it on my laser.
It seems full of bugs and is sometimes quite unpredictible. It's Corel every tme for me.
I have to use it on my rotary machine and most days I swear at it. (And I have been using EngraveLab for years) I used to like version 4.95 until I became more proficient with Coreldraw.
I guess it really comes down to your own preference and how you carry out your work. I have obviously failed to come to grips with the changes from Version 4.95 to Version 6.

I don't know how to answer your reply other than your right with comfort level.. I use both corel and Engrave lab and I think Engrave lab is great... so there.. lol...
Every thing depends on learning and feeling good with what you use.. and not having bugs.. or glitches..
